This delightful piece in A minor starts in Middle C position, with hand shifts by the L.H. one key over and one key under Middle C. Features legato and staccato touches, accidentals in front of notes, an optional teacher duet, and lyrics that tell the tale!
Creepy - Kevin Costley - W9390 / 2.95 - Late Elementary - This suspenseful piece in D minor is easy to coordinate so it can be learned quickly for Halloween. In section A, the L.H. uses harmonic 5ths and 6ths, the R.H. plays short phrases with stepwise motion. Section B features longerlegato phrasing with parallel and contrasting motion – just sing the lyrics to create the "creepy" creaking.
My Dog Max - Kevin Olson - W9391 / 2.95 - Early Elementary - This colorful recital piece is in Middle C position withstaccato seconds imitating the "ruff ruff" and an optional teacher duet. The animated lyrics tell the tale of a precocious pet in a "fun and fast" tempo.
Playful Prelude - Judith R. Strickland - W9392 / 2.95 - Early Intermediate - This perpetual motion prelude in C Major is written in cut time with both hands playing in treble clef – the L.H. blocked, and the R.H. broken. Suitable for recitals, auditions, or just supplemental music, students will enjoy the Classical sound with elegantly simple, sequential patterns.
